10 years ago, I took a huge leap of faith. I left 12 years in my teaching career, put my house up for rent, and moved over 1,000 miles away to a city with no family or friends. I had no job lined up and lived the first 8 weeks in an extended stay hotel in a less-than-desirable part of town. While the move was not under ideal circumstances, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I now have, nearly, 10 years in a second career I enjoy, I've established deep friendships and have a wide variety of connections always willing to help keep me active, a church family I can depend on, a faith that keeps me grounded, and a "CO family" who lavishly loves on me when I'm missing my own. Leaving Pure Michigan for Colorful Colorado was not an easy decision but it's one I'm glad I made. It's made me who I am today and, for that, I'm grateful. (Celebrating the milestone with this a-ma-zing carrot cake from konagrill and checking a square off the BINGO board, "ordered dessert" ✅. HAPPY 2nd ANNIVERSARY DOS LUCES!
Dos Luces has special tappings and different special release flights all day! You can get tasters or pints of some of the Tupac Amaru III Imperials Chicha's from 2020, but the flight speical we did included two of them from 2019 as well. They were all so good! We got a bottle of the Tupac Amaru III with mango and arbol chiles before we left to take home with us. We would have got a bottle of one of the 2019's too, but he said they don't sell them because he only had like 6 left and is saving them for other special release anniversaries 💗🍻
